With the help of the pressure equalization tank, the water flows quietly and constantly without pulsating or splashing. By reducing the time the water pump is switched on and off, the service life of the water pump is extended and the vehicle's battery is protected. The water pump does not switch on when water is not being drawn off. The pressure equalization tank can be mounted in any position. Air is trapped in the flexible membrane under constant pressure. The air pressure can be adjusted as required using a bicycle pump. Ideally, the pressure of the expansion tank (preset to 1.2 bar) should be close to the restart pressure of the water pump. The pressure compensation tank does not require its own power supply and is suitable for all pressurized water systems.
